Prime Minister Visit to Washington for Gaza Board of Peace

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in the United States to attend the inaugural meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace. Prime Minister visit to Washington was confirmed by the Foreign Office spokesperson, who said that U.S. President Donald Trump invited him to participate in the opening session on February 19 in Washington, D.C.
The spokesperson added that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and other senior officials are also part of the Pakistani delegation attending the event. The delegation will represent Pakistan in discussions aimed at promoting peace and stability in the Gaza region.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is expected to meet U.S. leaders and other global dignitaries. These meetings will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing key international issues of mutual interest.
