Lahore: In the first qualifier of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Quetta Gladiators set a target of 210 runs for Islamabad United.
The match is being played at Gaddafi Stadium, where Quetta captain Saud Shakeel won the toss and opted to bat first. Quetta posted 209/6 in their allotted 20 overs.
For Quetta, Dinesh Chandimal scored 48 off 28, Faheem Ashraf made 45 off 22, while Finn Allen (41), Fernando (32), Rilee Rossouw (16), and Saud Shakeel (12) also contributed.
From Islamabad United, Ben Dwarshuis and Salmam Irshad took 2 wickets each, while Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan picked up one wicket apiece.
This key match also marked the return of veteran pacer Mohammad Amir to Quetta’s lineup. The winning team advances to the final, while the losing side will get another shot in the eliminator.
