Putin Warns Europe Against War

Russian President Vladimir Putin has clearly stated that Russia does not want conflict, but if Europe chooses war, then Russia is fully prepared. He said this while speaking to the media in Moscow, where he also talked about Europe Russia war tension and the current situation around peace talks.
Putin said before meeting U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s adviser Jared Kushner that Russia has no intention to start a war with Europe. However, he warned that if Europe decides to take the conflict forward, Russia will respond strongly.
Putin also claimed that European countries are trying to destroy the Ukraine peace negotiations. According to him, Europe does not want the American peace plan for a Ukraine ceasefire to succeed and is trying to block any progress.

He added that European leaders have avoided peace talks in the past as well and are now trying to damage a possible settlement again. Putin held a nearly five-hour meeting with the U.S. delegation, where the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire and the American peace plan were discussed in detail.
According to the Kremlin, some points were agreed on during the recent talks, while others still need more discussion. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that several points in the peace proposal require additional work, showing that Europe Russia war tension remains unresolved.
