Risk of war increasing with time, says Defense Minister Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that the threat of war is growing with each passing day amid rising tensions with India.

Speaking to the media, Asif emphasized that Pakistan will not initiate any conflict, but if war is imposed, the country will respond with full force. “Whatever strength India uses, our response will be stronger,” he said.

He noted that friendly and regional powers are actively working to de-escalate the situation, and are playing a mediating role.
