Makkah – The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs has launched a toll-free helpline (800 2451000) to provide religious guidance and respond to enquiries from Hajj pilgrims. The helpline is now active 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering support throughout the Hajj season.

According to Saudi media reports, the helpline aims to ensure pilgrims can perform the rituals of Hajj according to Islamic principles. The service is part of the ministry’s broader initiative to enhance pilgrims’ spiritual experience and ensure easy access to religious scholars.

The helpline is available in ten languages, including Arabic, Urdu, English, French, Turkish, Bengali, Hausa, Indonesian, Amharic, and Hindi, making it accessible to pilgrims from a wide range of countries.

In a related development, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has introduced electric vehicle services within Masjid al-Haram. These vehicles are now available to assist elderly and disabled pilgrims, as well as the general public, during the performance of Hajj rituals.

The electric vehicles are part of a unified transport platform. The cost of using an electric vehicle is 100 Saudi Riyals for Tawaf and an additional 100 Riyals for Sa’i, while persons with disabilities can access the service free of charge.
