The snowfall in northern Pakistan has made the weather much colder, especially in the upper regions of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Fresh snow has covered mountain peaks and tourist areas, attracting visitors but also causing travel difficulties due to slippery roads and blocked routes.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, snowfall has started again on the surrounding mountains. Continuous snow is falling on Babusar, Nanga Parbat, and Batogah peaks. More than a dozen vehicles were trapped in the snow, and rescue teams had to assist travelers.

The weather department has already issued a rain and snow alert for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy snowfall was also reported in Swat, Dir, and Kalam, while upper Hazara Division saw its first winter rain and hailstorm, bringing down daytime temperatures and giving the region a nighttime feel even during the day.

Ayubia, Nathiagali, and Changla Gali have received around two to three inches of snow, turning the tourist areas into beautiful white landscapes. In Azad Kashmir, rain and snowfall from Muzaffarabad to Neelum Valley have added to the winter chill, and authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary travel in bad weather.
