Speaker Ayaz Sadiq advises government and opposition to hold talks

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has once again advised the government and opposition to engage in dialogue. He also offered to play a role in facilitating these talks, stating that constructive discussion could help resolve ongoing political issues. According to him, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq advises government and opposition to hold talks to improve cooperation and avoid unnecessary conflicts.
Addressing the opposition, the Speaker said that blaming institutions or making accusations will not yield any results. He urged both sides to sit together and resolve matters through mutual understanding rather than confrontation.
He mentioned that a letter has been sent to Aamir Dogar, and he will also make requests to the government. Earlier efforts were made to bring the parties together, but the response was not positive, according to Ayaz Sadiq.

Regarding the opposition leader, the Speaker stated that the matter is pending in court, and once the judicial order is issued, a decision will be taken accordingly. He emphasized the importance of waiting for the legal process to conclude before taking any political steps.
Meanwhile, PTI Chief Whip in the National Assembly, Malik Aamir Dogar, said that the party leadership is aware of the current situation and will take actions that could help secure the release of party founder Imran Khan and other detained leaders. This shows that Speaker Ayaz Sadiq advises government and opposition to hold talks remains relevant as a path toward dialogue and political stability.
