Three Motorway Police Officers Killed in M-5 Crash

Three officers of the Motorway Police died in a tragic accident near Uch Sharif on the M-5, authorities reported. The incident occurred when a passenger bus collided with a police mobile that was patrolling the highway. The collision happened from the rear, causing fatal injuries to the officers.
The victims were identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector Mushtaq, Assistant Sub-Inspector Nasir Abbas, and Constable Usama. Rescue teams, including the Sector Commander and DSP, quickly reached the scene. They are currently conducting relief and recovery operations at the crash site.
The Motorway Police spokesperson confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident. Authorities are examining all possible factors that led to this tragic event. The police are committed to uncovering the full details of the incident.
In a separate accident earlier, four people, including three brothers, lost their lives when a passenger bus hit their motorcycles. The crash took place in the Shujabad area of Punjab. Among the victims was 20-year-old Yasir, who was on his way home after shopping for his upcoming wedding.
Yasir had planned to marry the following day. He was traveling with cousins and friends when the bus collided with their motorcycles. The sudden and tragic deaths have left the community in shock, as Yasir’s wedding plans were tragically interrupted.

120 to 150 km/h: Heavy fines will be imposed.
Above 150 km/h: Both fines and vehicle impoundment will be enforced.
