US Fintech Delegation Meets CDF Munir, Discusses Investments

A high-level delegation from US-based fintech company World Liberty Financial visited Pakistan on Wednesday. The visit highlights growing international interest in the country’s evolving economic and digital finance landscape.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the delegation met Chief of Defence Forces and army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Rawalpindi. The group was led by CEO Zachary Witkoff.

The meeting focused on Pakistan’s changing economic landscape. Discussions covered international private investment and cross-border digital finance opportunities in the country.

ISPR said the engagement highlighted rising global confidence in Pakistan’s fintech sector. Officials noted the potential to enhance financial inclusion through modern digital financial systems.

During the meeting, Zachary Witkoff praised Pakistan’s economic potential. He acknowledged the country’s leadership for embracing futuristic technologies and supporting fintech innovation.

Witkoff added that Pakistan is making significant efforts toward economic development. He emphasized progress aligned with future needs, especially in digital finance and fintech domains.

Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed the dialogue and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to economic stability. He stressed creating an enabling environment for private sector participation and long-term growth.
