Women’s team defeated Ireland by 38 runs in World Cup Qualifier


Lahore: Hosts Pakistan made a winning start in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier on Wednesday.
According to the details, the national women’s team defeated Ireland by 38 runs in the first match. Batting first, the national team was bowled out for 217 runs in 49 overs. Alia Riaz and Sidra Amin were outstanding with 52 and 51 runs.
Chasing the target, Ireland’s team were bowled out for 179 runs in the 44th over. Diana Baig took 4 wickets for Pakistan.
