Young Indian cricketer also killed in Ahmedabad plane crash!

The tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad has now claimed over 270 lives, while the exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Authorities have confirmed that the aircraft’s black box has been recovered, and investigators are working swiftly to determine what led to the disaster. Findings are expected to be released soon.
Six days after the incident, it was confirmed that Dirgh Patel, a young cricketer of Indian origin, was among those who lost their lives in the crash.
Dirgh Patel, a 23-year-old cricketer from Gujarat, India, was an emerging talent playing for the Leeds Modern Cricket Club in England. He had an impressive record with over 300 runs and 29 wickets in just 20 matches. Besides his cricketing career, Dirgh was pursuing a postgraduate degree in artificial intelligence at the University of Huddersfield in the UK.
The Leeds Modern Cricket Club expressed deep sorrow over his untimely passing, stating:
“We stand in full support of Dirgh Patel’s family and friends during this extremely difficult time.”
