Petroleum Prices Increased in Pakistan for the Next 15 Days

Islamabad: The federal government has announced a fresh increase in petroleum product prices, which has come into effect from midnight. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the new prices will remain in place for the next 15 days.

As per the latest update, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs. 4.80 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 258.43 per litre. The government also approved a Rs 7.95 per litre increase in the price of high-speed diesel, setting the new rate at Rs 262.59 per litre.

The Ministry of Finance stated that the revised prices reflect adjustments in global oil rates and other economic factors affecting the local market.
