China’s Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Named the World’s Most Beautiful Airport

The title of the world’s most beautiful airport has been awarded to China’s Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Terminal 3. According to the latest Prix Versailles International Architecture Awards, the world’s most beautiful airport was selected after evaluating airports from around the globe based on architecture, passenger experience, and overall design excellence.
Millions of people travel by air every day, and airports often leave a lasting impression on travelers. While some airports are known for efficiency and convenience, others stand out because of their exceptional architecture and unique passenger experience.
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport’s Terminal 3 secured the top position due to its impressive design, landscaped gardens, and integration of cultural elements. The terminal is also home to one of the best public observation decks among Chinese airports, offering visitors a remarkable viewing experience.

The design of Terminal 3 pays tribute to the Lingnan cultural heritage of southern China. Architects incorporated open spaces, natural lighting, and extensive woodwork to create a welcoming and visually striking environment for travelers.
In the global rankings, Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3 in Germany secured second place, while Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport Terminal 2 in India ranked third. Navi Mumbai International Airport in India took fourth place, and Cambodia’s Techo International Airport came fifth, completing the list of the world’s most beautiful airport award winners.
