A tragic incident occurred in Rawalpindi’s Iqbal Town where a 5-year-old boy died after falling into sewage water while flying a kite. Authorities confirmed that the boy’s death highlights the dangers of open sewage and unsafe areas, making the Rawalpindi sewage accident involving a child a matter of serious concern.

Rescue officials reported that the incident happened near private housing apartments in the Sadiqabad area of Iqbal Town. The boy was playing and flying a kite when he accidentally fell into a drainage pit filled with sewage water.

According to rescue authorities, the area had recently undergone excavation by the housing society, which blocked the nearby drainage and caused water to accumulate in the pit. The unsafe conditions contributed directly to the boy’s tragic accident.
