Actor Syed Jibran Reveals He Narrowly Escaped Tragedy During Hanging Scene in Adiala Jail

Pakistani actor Syed Jibran has revealed a shocking incident from a project shoot inside Adiala Jail. He shared the experience during a recent television programme. Jibran said he narrowly survived a dangerous accident while filming a hanging scene.

He explained that he was made to wear a noose and stand on the execution platform. The scene required recording until the lever was pulled. The platform was chained to prevent it from opening, but the lever failed to move and the shot was repeated.

According to Jibran, the director unexpectedly told him to step down from the platform. As soon as he got off, the lever was pulled again for another take. Shockingly, the chained platform suddenly opened.

The actor said he had already filmed the scene wearing a black hood over his head. If the director had not asked him to step down, he could have lost his life when the platform opened.

Jibran stressed how close he came to a real tragedy. He described the experience as terrifying and unforgettable. His revelation has raised concerns about safety precautions during risky film shoots in Pakistan.
