Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Tehran and advanced diplomacy by meeting senior Iranian military leadership. During his visit, he arrived at the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, marking a key step in regional engagement and defense-level dialogue.
According to Iranian media, Commander Ali Abdollahi warmly received him at the headquarters. Both sides held discussions focused on strengthening military cooperation and addressing shared regional security concerns through coordinated efforts.
Earlier, Asim Munir met Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in Tehran. During the meeting, they exchanged views on important regional developments and emphasized the need for stability through dialogue and mutual understanding.

Meanwhile, the field marshal also met Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The minister thanked Pakistan for hosting talks and highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to promote peace and stability across the region.
This visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to support Iran-US negotiations and overcome obstacles to a lasting ceasefire. According to ISPR, Asim Munir visited Tehran and continues to advance diplomacy through strategic engagement, reinforcing Pakistan’s role in regional peacebuilding initiatives.
