Binance Leadership Meets Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the senior leadership of Binance in Islamabad. The meeting highlighted the government’s strong interest in promoting safe and modern financial technology and digital assets regulations in Pakistan for future economic growth.

The delegation included Binance’s Global CEO Richard Teng, who visited Pakistan to hold talks with top government officials. He appreciated Pakistan’s willingness to explore fintech opportunities and digital solutions.

According to official sources, the meeting discussed the global trends of virtual assets and the role of Pakistan in this developing sector. Leaders also talked about improving cooperation between international companies and Pakistani institutions.

The Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority Bilal bin Saqib were also present during the meeting. They expressed support for secure and transparent digital financial systems in the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif repeated the government’s commitment to building strong frameworks for digital assets regulations in Pakistan, while Bilal bin Saqib briefed the participants about the performance and progress of his institution.
