Ceasefire shattered as Israel launches deadly strike on Lebanon

Israel has once again attacked Lebanon, causing the deaths of 13 people, despite the ceasefire agreement that was supposed to ensure peace. The strike shows how Israel violates ceasefire agreement as violence continues in the region.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the Israeli military carried out an airstrike in the southern city of Sidon. The attack targeted an open sports ground that was being used by displaced refugees, resulting in 13 deaths and several injuries.

The Israeli army claimed that the area they struck was being used by Hamas members who were preparing operations against Israel. However, the Israeli forces did not provide any evidence to support this claim.
In response, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas rejected Israel’s statement, calling it completely false. Hamas said Israel deliberately targeted an open sports ground being used by refugees, and the attack had no military justification.

It is important to note that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to a ceasefire last year, yet attacks have continued. Earlier this month as well, Israel carried out a drone strike on a car in southern Lebanon, killing four people. These incidents show once again how Israel violates ceasefire agreement despite repeated calls for peace in the region.
