Imran Khan Meets Wife Bushra Bibi at Jail

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan met his wife Bushra Bibi on Wednesday. The meeting took place at Adiala Jail.

According to jail sources, the administration arranged the meeting according to jail regulations. The session lasted approximately 45 minutes in the jail’s conference room. Officials added that similar meetings are routinely conducted as per the jail manual.

Jail authorities noted that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had met last week for a similar duration. The arrangement ensures compliance with security and procedural rules.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Salman Kharal, had visited the jail on Tuesday. He carried blankets, warm clothing, dry fruits, and dates, but was not allowed to meet Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah said the government is ready for political dialogue with the opposition. He added that the prime minister extended invitations three times.

Rana Sanaullah claimed the PTI founder seeks another May-9 incident. He also said the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is actively supporting this objective. “People will reject their strike call,” he added.

The adviser further emphasized that the government will lead counter-terrorism operations successfully. He warned that obstacles from the provincial government could increase chances of governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
