Iran–US Talks Confirmed for Friday in Muscat

Iran and the United States have confirmed that their long-awaited negotiations will take place on Friday in Oman, ending all speculation about a delay. Both sides said the discussions will go ahead as planned, and Iran US talks in Muscat will focus mainly on nuclear-related issues, making this meeting important for future relations.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on social media that the nuclear talks with the United States will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in Muscat. He also thanked the Omani authorities for making all necessary arrangements for the meeting.
On the American side, two senior US officials also confirmed to local media that the talks will indeed take place in Oman. This confirmation from both countries has brought clarity after days of uncertainty.

Earlier, the Iran–US nuclear talks were scheduled to be held in Turkey. However, Iran requested that the venue be changed from Istanbul to Oman, which was later accepted for this round of discussions.
Iran also asked that no regional partners be included in the talks and that discussions remain limited to nuclear matters only. So far, there has been no clear information on whether these conditions were accepted, but Iran US talks in Muscat are now set to proceed as scheduled.
