Israeli Airstrikes Devastate Gaza’s Sabra Neighborhood, Dozens Killed

Israeli warplanes carried out intense bombing in Gaza’s Sabra neighbourhood, killing at least 25 members of the same family, local sources confirmed. Reports suggest that more than 55 Palestinians have lost their lives so far, while many others remain trapped under the rubble.

According to Al Jazeera, multiple homes in the area were destroyed during the strikes. Rescue workers, supported by local residents, are using their hands and basic tools to remove debris in hopes of saving survivors. Family members at the site claim that cries for help can still be heard from beneath the collapsed buildings.

Eyewitnesses also alleged that Israeli drones are hindering relief efforts by opening fire near rescue operations. Survivors have appealed to the international community for urgent humanitarian assistance.

In another attack, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing seven Palestinians, including four children. The strike occurred near a United Nations health clinic.

The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that since October 2023, more than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 166,000 injured in Israeli attacks. The ministry further reported that severe food shortages and famine have claimed the lives of 440 people, among them 147 children.
