Karachi Matric Exams Postponed to April 10

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has postponed the annual matriculation examinations that were scheduled to begin on April 7, citing technical and administrative challenges.
Chairman Ghulam Hussain confirmed that the exams will now commence from Friday, April 10, stating that the decision was taken in the best interest of students.
According to officials, the board is currently transitioning from a manual system to a digital platform, which has caused temporary disruptions due to heavy data load and software issues.
The examination controller stated that the rescheduling decision was made due to an emergency situation, and a revised schedule will be issued soon for students.

Despite the delay, students will appear for exams at their originally assigned examination centers without any changes.
Sources also revealed that many schools failed to submit examination forms on time, contributing to the delay in processing and issuing admit cards.
Thousands of forms were reportedly submitted with late fees in the final days, causing logistical complications and leaving students anxious ahead of the exams.
