Lahore university student awake, condition stable

A female student who jumped from a building at a private university in Lahore has regained consciousness, doctors confirmed. She continues treatment at Lahore General Hospital, where her condition remains critical.
The student was admitted to the ICU, and medical staff say she is now breathing independently after being removed from the ventilator. Continuous monitoring continues to ensure her stability.
Prof. Dr. Jawdat Saleem, head of the hospital’s medical board, said the student has spoken to her family and staff since regaining consciousness. The family reported no signs of prior mental distress or suicide attempts.
Doctors noted her overall condition is currently stable and satisfactory. However, she will remain in the ICU as a precaution while further treatment plans are evaluated.
