Man Kills Pregnant Wife and Two Daughters Over Fear of Another Girl Child

A shocking and tragic incident has emerged from India where a man allegedly killed his pregnant wife and two young daughters over fears of having another girl child.

The incident took place in Telangana, specifically in the Hanamkonda district, sending shockwaves across the region.

According to Indian media reports, the accused, Azharuddin, lived with his 26-year-old wife Farhat and their two daughters, eight-year-old Umaira and six-year-old Ayesha, and operated a swimming pool.

Reports suggest that after the birth of two daughters, he allegedly forced his wife to undergo abortions multiple times due to suspicion of having another girl child.

When Farhat became pregnant again after four years, he reportedly pressured her to terminate the pregnancy, but she refused.

Police said the accused then took his wife and daughters to a swimming pool and drowned them, later attempting to portray the incident as an accident.

Authorities launched an investigation after the suspect’s father raised concerns. The accused was taken into custody and reportedly confessed to the crime, with further legal proceedings underway.
