Maryam Nawaz Says No One Better Than Asim Munir

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the new appointment of Field Marshal Asim Munir is a very good decision. While speaking to the media before leaving London for Pakistan, she stated that no one could be better for this position than him, and this Maryam Nawaz praises Asim Munir appointment statement reflects her full support for the decision. She added that Asim Munir has shown strong leadership in the past.

Maryam Nawaz said that Field Marshal Asim Munir proved his leadership during the Pakistan–India war and that no one is more deserving of this role than him. She praised his service and said that his commitment to the country has always been clear.

Regarding the recent resignations of judges, Maryam criticized their timing. She questioned why their conscience did not awaken earlier when, according to her, Nawaz Sharif, herself, and others were given unfair punishments. She said these are “political consciences” and not steps taken for true justice. She added that she has never taken revenge on anyone.

Maryam Nawaz also spoke about a recent report published by The Economist, saying that the whole world is aware of the facts mentioned in it and that there is no room for doubt. She also shared that Punjab presented major ground-breaking projects at COP 30, showing the province’s commitment to development.

She further said that issues related to land-grabbing affecting overseas Pakistanis will now be solved within weeks. With this confident stance, Maryam Nawaz praises Asim Munir appointment once again, highlighting her belief in his capability and leadership.
