Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s wife, Mushaal Mullick, called for a special Board of Peace for Kashmir. She compared it to peace efforts being discussed for Gaza. Mullick stressed that the Kashmir dispute must be central to global peace initiatives.

She said Kashmiris observed India’s Republic Day as a “Black Day,” accusing India of denying their right to self-determination. Mullick highlighted the long-standing grievances of Kashmiris and urged the international community to take notice. She emphasized that lasting peace cannot be achieved without addressing Kashmir’s situation.

Mullick warned that Yasin Malik’s life was at risk and demanded his immediate release. She called for the revival of the peace process initiated in 2000. She said a fair and just resolution of the Kashmir issue is the only guarantee of regional stability.

She described Kashmir as one of the world’s most sensitive nuclear flashpoints. Mullick urged countries to act responsibly to prevent escalation or further instability. She stressed that ignoring Kashmir could have dangerous consequences for South Asia.

Mullick praised Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for promoting peace. She said Pakistan’s engagement on international peace platforms sends a strong message. She added that global leaders should recognize Pakistan’s efforts in highlighting Kashmir.

She also called upon the international community to acknowledge the sacrifices of Kashmiris. Mullick said their struggles are often overlooked, yet they are central to regional peace. She urged the world to take tangible steps toward justice for Kashmiris.

Finally, Mullick reminded U.S. President Donald Trump of his peace commitments. She said if the proposed Board of Peace aims for global stability, Kashmir must be included. She concluded that meaningful peace cannot be achieved without considering Kashmir’s critical role.
