Global food and beverage company Nestlé announced a $60 million investment in Pakistan. The company plans to expand its operations across the country.

The announcement came during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb chaired a high-level business roundtable with global corporate leaders.

Nestlé’s Executive Vice President Remy Ejel confirmed the investment. He emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to Pakistan’s market and growth potential.

Ejel revealed that Pakistan will serve as a regional manufacturing and export hub. The company plans to export products to 26 countries.

Last August, a Nestlé delegation met Aurangzeb to discuss strategies for localization, advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and agricultural transformation in Pakistan.

Ejel highlighted Pakistan’s demographic growth, rising nutrition needs, and underpenetrated value-added food segments. He compared the market potential to successful Southeast Asian models.

Aurangzeb welcomed the investment as a “strong vote of confidence” in Pakistan’s reforms. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to policy consistency and private sector engagement.
