Pakistani Leaders Condemn White House Dinner Shooting

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the shooting incident that occurred during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, calling it a serious act of violence.
In his official statement, President Zardari expressed relief that former US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump remained unharmed during the alarming incident.
He described the attack as a “heinous act of terrorism” and emphasized that such incidents deserve the strongest possible condemnation at the international level.
The incident, which took place during a high-profile media event in Washington DC, caused panic among attendees but was quickly brought under control by security forces.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also reacted to the situation through a statement on social media platform X, expressing deep concern over the shooting.
The Prime Minister said he was relieved to learn that Donald Trump, the First Lady, and other participants were safe following the incident.
Pakistani leadership reiterated the importance of global unity against violence and stressed that such attacks should not undermine international peace and cooperation.
