In Sylhet, Bangladesh were bowled out for 278 runs in their first innings of the second Test against Pakistan.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and chose to field first. Bangladesh opened with Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Tanzid Hasan, but Joy was dismissed on just the second ball of the match by Mohammad Abbas.
