PSL 10: Quetta Gladiators thrash Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs


In the second match of HBL PSL 2025, Quetta Gladiators delivered a dominant performance, defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs in Rawalpindi.
Batting first, Quetta posted a massive total of 216/3. Saud Shakeel top-scored with 59 runs, Finn Allen added 53, Hassan Nawaz chipped in with 41, while Rilee Rossouw (21*) and Kusal Mendis (35*) remained unbeaten.
In reply, Peshawar Zalmi crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for 136 in 15.1 overs. Saim Ayub scored a fighting 50, Hussain Talat added 35, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to deliver. Captain Babar Azam was dismissed for a duck by Mohammad Amir.
Abrar Ahmed starred with the ball, claiming four wickets, while Amir and Usman Tariq picked up 2 wickets each.
Peshawar had won the toss and opted to field, but the decision backfired as Quetta capitalized fully and secured their first win of the season.
