Teacher arrested after student allegedly tortured in Rawalpindi seminary

Police in Rawalpindi have arrested a seminary teacher following allegations that he physically assaulted a student for wearing a torn cap.
According to police officials, the case was registered after the victim’s father filed a complaint against the teacher, accusing him of severe physical abuse. The incident reportedly took place inside a religious seminary where the student was studying.
The complainant stated that the teacher beat the student with a plastic pipe after noticing him wearing a torn cap. Following the complaint, police took immediate action and arrested the accused teacher.
Authorities confirmed that a medical examination of the student has been conducted to assess the extent of injuries. Investigations are also underway regarding allegations of physical torture and unlawful confinement.
