Sheikh Rashid urges government to resolve farmers problems

RAWALPINDI – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid called for justice in recent legal cases. He urged authorities to punish the guilty and release the innocent. Speaking outside the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court, Rashid highlighted that some individuals have received 40-year sentences. He appealed to the Chief Justice to ensure appeals are heard promptly. In addition, Rashid expressed concern over the hardships facing farmers in Rawalpindi. He noted that thousands of carts and stalls have been destroyed, affecting livelihoods.
