A tragic Tejas fighter jet crash took place during the Dubai Airshow, where an Indian-made Tejas aircraft fell and was destroyed, resulting in the death of the pilot. The Indian Air Force confirmed the accident soon after the incident, marking a sad moment during one of the world’s most popular aviation events.

According to Indian Air Force officials, the aircraft was performing an aerobatic display when it suddenly went down. The crash occurred at 2:10 p.m. during a stunt, shocking spectators and prompting organizers to halt all flying demonstrations immediately.

Media reports from the U.S. and India stated that investigators are now attempting to determine whether the crash was caused by a technical issue or an error during flight. Early information also revealed that the jet involved had been in service since 2016.

The accident came only days after a video went viral showing oil leaking from another Tejas aircraft during the same airshow. Indian media also pointed out that this is the second Tejas crash in less than two years, following an earlier incident in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, in March 2024.
