Thieves in the UK Steal Entire ATM with a Crane

In a dramatic, movie-style robbery, a group of thieves in Buckinghamshire managed to steal an entire ATM machine using a crane — and escaped within minutes.

CCTV footage shows the criminals using a mini truck and crane to pull the cash machine out of its base before loading it onto the vehicle and driving away.

Local police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the culprits.

An eyewitness, Karolina Oswisemska, who recorded the incident, told reporters that her daughter first heard strange noises outside. “She said she heard the sound of chains, and when she looked out the window, she saw men using a crane to uproot the ATM,” the witness said.

She added, “I immediately grabbed my phone and started recording. Everything happened so fast — they were there for only five to seven minutes.”

The incident reportedly occurred around 1 a.m., and the video of the theft has since gone viral on social media. Many users expressed astonishment at how swiftly and skillfully the crime was executed.

One user commented, “I can’t believe how easily they pulled this off,” while another noted, “Most modern ATMs have anti-theft ink spray systems that damage the cash if tampered with.”

Police are currently reviewing the footage and investigating the incident.
