US Iran Talks

The possibility of US Iran talks 2026 has emerged following a report by Al Jazeera citing unnamed Pakistani security sources.

According to the report, Pakistani security officials indicated that the next round of negotiations between the United States and Iran could take place as early as next week.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the second phase of talks is expected before Friday, based on multiple intelligence and logistical indicators.

The report further claimed that two US logistical aircraft have already landed at Nur Khan Air Base, raising speculation about high-level diplomatic movements in the region.

Security measures in Islamabad have reportedly intensified, with several roads leading from the airport to the Red Zone temporarily closed.

Sources also stated that hotels in Islamabad are being cleared of guests, and no new bookings are being allowed until Friday, suggesting preparations for sensitive diplomatic activity.

Additionally, public transport and heavy traffic in Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been suspended until further notice. The Metro Bus service between PIMS Station and Pak Secretariat has also been completely shut down. These developments have fueled further speculation around potential US Iran talks 2026.
