Historic day at Pakistan Stock Exchange as KSE-100 closes at record high

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a record-breaking session today, with the KSE-100 Index surging by 1,226 points to close at an all-time high of 152,201 points.

During intraday trading, the index peaked at a new record of 152,805 points. This marks the fourth consecutive day of bullish momentum, with a cumulative gain of 4,858 points over the past four sessions.

Trading volume remained strong, with over 1.04 billion shares exchanged. The total traded value stood at Rs. 51 billion, while market capitalisation increased by Rs. 108 billion, reaching Rs. 17,963 billion (approximately USD 64 billion).
