Gold and Silver Prices Hit Record Highs in Pakistan

Gold and silver prices in Pakistan and global markets witnessed another sharp rise on Friday, reaching historic highs.
The surge came after a day’s break, with metals increasing due to central bank purchases and global geopolitical tensions.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs9,100 per tola.
This increase pushed 24-karat gold rates to Rs514,662 per tola, while 10 grams of gold jumped by Rs7,802 to Rs441,239.

Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs7,152, reaching Rs404,483, reflecting strong local demand amid global market trends.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $91 per ounce to settle at $4,923, showing continued investor interest.
Silver also followed a rising trend, with 24-karat silver per tola increasing by Rs372 to Rs10,275, and 10 grams selling at Rs8,809.
