An actor from the controversial film Dharinder has been arrested by police after serious allegations were made by his domestic worker. Indian media reported that the arrest followed a formal complaint accusing the actor of sexual assault over several years. According to reports, the complainant is a 41-year-old woman who said she has worked as a domestic helper in several actors’ homes. She stated that she had been employed at the accused actor Nadeem Khan’s residence for many years.
The woman alleged that during this time, the relationship between them became close and the actor promised to marry her. She claimed that this promise was used to gain her trust and keep her silent.

Indian media further reported that the woman accused the actor of repeatedly sexually assaulting her over the past ten years on the promise of marriage. She said that when the actor later refused to marry her, she decided to approach the police.
