Quetta – At least four terrorists from a banned outfit were killed in a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) operation on Friday. The operation took place in the Saryab Road area of Quetta. CTD officials conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the area after gathering crucial information.

During the operation, the terrorists engaged in an intense gun battle with law enforcement agencies. After a fierce exchange of fire, all four terrorists were killed. CTD officials confirmed the operation was successful in neutralizing the threat posed by the militants.

A spokesperson for the CTD stated that the law enforcement agencies recovered weapons, hand grenades, and banned organization literature from the compound controlled by the terrorists. The recovered materials pointed to the terrorists’ links with a banned group. Authorities are investigating the matter further.
