GHQ Ceremony Marks One Year of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos

A special ceremony is being held at Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters (GHQ) to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, launched in response to Indian aggression.
The event is attended by top military leadership, including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as the chief guest. Also present are Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
The ceremony began with a solemn visit to the Martyrs’ Monument at GHQ. The armed forces chiefs laid floral wreaths and offered prayers (Fateha) in honor of the fallen heroes.
Following the tribute, a well-disciplined contingent of the armed forces presented a formal salute to the leadership, representing the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
According to ISPR, the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos reflects the armed forces’ preparedness, dedication, and professional excellence in safeguarding the country.
The military also emphasized that the unwavering support of the nation has played a critical role in strengthening defense capabilities against internal and external challenges.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment by Pakistan’s armed forces to continue defending the country’s sovereignty and maintaining regional stability.
