Government Open to Opposition Talks, Says Minister Tariq Fazal

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said dialogue is another name for democracy. He added that the government is ready to hold talks with the opposition on all matters.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhary highlighted that the Prime Minister has invited the opposition for negotiations five times. He emphasized that dialogue is the solution to every issue and urged PTI to resolve internal confusion.
The minister pointed out conflicting views within PTI regarding talks with the government. He said these differences should not prevent constructive dialogue and cooperation.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhary suggested that the opposition could also approach the office of the Speaker of the National Assembly. He said the Speaker’s office could help initiate meaningful dialogue with the government.

He urged the opposition to actively play its role in Parliament. He noted that a strong opposition is crucial for democratic progress and accountability.
The minister added that the Prime Minister wants to establish a model of good governance in the country. He said the government is focused on policies that improve transparency and efficiency in public service.
Finally, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said ongoing efforts aim to improve the economic situation. He emphasized that dialogue and cooperation between government and opposition are key to national stability.
