Rising prices and a sharp fall in the national currency have triggered Iran inflation protests across several cities, turning violent in some areas. According to reports, at least six people have been killed during clashes between protesters and security forces as public anger over the economic situation continues to grow.

Iranian media said demonstrations took place in cities including Lorestan, Fasa, and Azna, where protesters confronted security personnel. In some locations, angry crowds attacked government buildings and attempted to set police stations on fire, increasing tensions on the streets.

Reports stated that police used aerial firing, rubber bullets, and tear gas to disperse the crowds. Several protesters were injured during the clashes, and law enforcement agencies arrested multiple individuals accused of creating unrest and damaging public property.
