Iranian Envoy Meets Fazlur Rehman, as Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam visited the residence of Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad. During the meeting, both sides discussed the recent US-Iran conflict and its wider impact. The visit highlighted growing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran.

According to an official statement from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), the Iranian envoy expressed gratitude for Fazlur Rehman’s strong stance on the conflict. He said the Iranian nation appreciated the support shown by Pakistani leaders. Furthermore, he acknowledged the importance of balanced and firm opinions during tense times.

Meanwhile, Fazlur Rehman stated that Pakistan’s role in hosting US-Iran talks is a matter of national pride. He added that there is hope for a ceasefire and a desire for lasting peace. In addition, he emphasized the need to establish a united Islamic bloc as part of his party’s vision.

He also urged leaders across the Muslim world to learn from recent events. He stressed that without unity, Muslim nations risk being exploited. In response, Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam supported these views and praised the Pakistani public. He thanked scholars and citizens for their strong yet balanced stance on US actions.
