Ishaq Dar Clarifies in NA on Shama Junejo’s Mention

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar clarified in the National Assembly regarding the mention of Shama Junejo.

Speaking in the House, Ishaq Dar said that Shama Junejo’s name was not included in the UN delegation sent by the government.

He explained that the delegation for the United Nations is officially approved with the signature of the Foreign Minister, and her name was not on that list.

Dar further stated that during the Prime Minister’s visits, there is also a separate delegation comprising various staff members, and Shama Junejo was part of that group.

At first, reacting humorously to the mention of Shama Junejo, Dar remarked, “Electric poles are also there, but you only see Shama.”
