The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced a new roster for its judges. The roster will be in effect from March 2 to May 2. Chief Justice Aalia Neelum approved the roster, which details the allocation of cases. The structure sets up various benches to handle different types of appeals during this period. Officials say the new arrangement aims to streamline case management and improve judicial efficiency.

The new roster includes nine division benches at the principal seat. Meanwhile, 27 judges will hear cases as part of single benches. Chief Justice Aalia Neelum will head a two-judge bench hearing all types of appeals. The decision ensures that complex cases receive focused attention. Judges will manage cases based on their expertise and bench assignment.

Specific benches have been designated for different types of appeals. A two-judge bench of Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh and Justice Javed Iqbal Venus will hear tax and commercial appeals. NAB, anti-terrorism, and criminal appeals will be handled by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi and Justice Sardar Akbar Ali Dogar.
