NADRA Introduces New Features for Non-Chip ID Cards

NADRA has announced that non-chip national ID cards will now include modern features. These cards will have information in both Urdu and English, a coloured photo, and a QR code that lets citizens access their digital ID through the Pak-ID mobile app.

There will also be special symbols on cards for organ donors and persons with disabilities to help in emergencies. Citizens can now renew, update, or reapply for non-chip ID cards without upgrading to a smart card.

NADRA also released a revised fee structure:

Normal Card: PKR 400
Urgent Delivery: PKR 1,150
Executive Category: PKR 2,150
