NADRA Launches Upgraded Pak ID Mobile App

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an upgraded version of the Pak ID mobile app, making visa applications and biometric verification more convenient for users.

According to an official statement and informational video released by NADRA, the updated app simplifies the visa process for foreign nationals and overseas Pakistanis wishing to travel to Pakistan.

With the new upgrade, citizens from 193 countries can now apply for all visa categories directly through the app, eliminating the need for complicated procedures.

Applicants will no longer need to manually enter details such as name, passport number, and expiry date. By simply uploading or capturing a passport image, the system will automatically scan and populate all required information.

A dedicated biometric verification section has also been added to the app’s homepage, ensuring a smoother and more user-friendly experience.

Through this feature, users can now verify family relationships, vehicle transfers, inheritance matters, passports, arms licenses, and pensioners’ “proof of life” from the comfort of their homes.

NADRA spokesperson advised users to update the Pak ID mobile app via Google Play Store or Apple App Store to benefit from the latest features and improvements.
