Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information, Atta Tarar, has stated that Pakistan demonstrated its strength by delivering a strong response to the enemy in what he described as a “battle for truth,” adding that the nation will not compromise on its dignity and honor.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, he said that a year ago Pakistan presented a clear and firm stance on the Pahalgam incident during an address in Kakul, which proved to be a significant turning point on the diplomatic front. He added that Pakistan effectively responded to what he called baseless allegations from India, while the Prime Minister termed the Pahalgam incident a tragedy and offered transparent and impartial investigations.

According to Atta Tarar, Pakistan expressed solidarity with the victims and raised concerns at the global level. He claimed that Pakistan’s position received support from several countries, which pushed India onto the defensive.

He further alleged that India not only fails to condemn acts of terrorism but also promotes them, claiming that groups such as BLA and TTP have links connected to India.

The Information Minister emphasized that Pakistan stands as a strong barrier against terrorism and continues to make sacrifices in this fight. He stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully capable of responding to any form of aggression.

He added that under the leadership of the Field Marshal, the armed forces successfully defended the country and proved their strength by responding effectively to the enemy. He stressed that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces in defense of the country.

Atta Tarar concluded by saying that the Prime Minister has made it clear that Pakistan will not compromise on its dignity, and that the country’s stance has gained respect and recognition globally, boosting the morale of overseas Pakistanis as well.
