President Trump Responds to Escalating India-Pakistan Tensions After Kashmir Incident

President Donald Trump has commented on the growing tensions between India and Pakistan following a deadly incident in the Pahalgam area of Indian-administered Kashmir, stating that both countries should resolve the matter independently.
In remarks to the press, President Trump said, “India and Pakistan will have to work things out on their own. There has always been significant tension between the two nations.” He acknowledged being familiar with both countries’ leadership but did not confirm whether he would be contacting them directly.
The remarks come in the wake of a recent attack in Pahalgam, considered one of the deadliest in the region in the past two decades, resulting in the deaths of at least 26 individuals. The incident has sharply heightened tensions across the region.
