Prime Minister Calls 1973 Constitution Symbol of Unity

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the 1973 Constitution remains a strong symbol of unity and federation in Pakistan. He shared this message on Constitution Day. He added that the nation celebrates this historic document with pride and a deep sense of collective spirit.

He praised the creators of the Constitution and honored their efforts. He stated that the Constitution of the Pakistan represents a sacred agreement between the people and the state. Moreover, he explained that it clearly defines rights and responsibilities in legal, moral, and administrative terms.

He highlighted that the Constitution was approved on April 10, 1973, with full national consensus. He noted that it laid the foundation for a parliamentary democratic system. Furthermore, he emphasized that the document protects fundamental human rights for all citizens across the country.
